The practice of homeopathy assumes that physical, mental and emotional expressions are important considerations in the management of a person's ill health.

Homeopathic counseling begins with a very detailed interview. The purpose of this interview is to get a complete and balanced picture of the patient, including a family history, a medical history and detailed information about how you, the patient, experience your symptoms. It is often the strange, rare or peculiar experiences shared at this time that hold the information the homeopath uses to personalize the therapy.

The goal of this consultation is to find a remedy that matches this unique expression of illness so well that vitality is stimulated, well-being grows and homeostatic balance returns.

Both books and computers are used to study philosophy, materia medica, repertories and journals. Understanding you comes first; and then comes much study to eliminate remedies until choosing the first one. This first remedy is chosen from among thousands of possible remedies.
